1-to-1 Slumber Skills Sessions for Children

We also offer 1-to-1 insomnia and sleep sessions for children aged 4-11 years old. This is an age group of children often missed as most focus is on babies who can’t sleep. If you have a child in this age range who struggles to fall asleep alone or won’t stay in their own bed, or maybe they can’t sleep due to anxiety, then we can help. With over 20 years of experience working with children and families, we can help you to learn the skills and techniques to teach your child how to sleep well and live better.

For children and young people, CBT-i takes the form of regular sessions where we help pinpoint the problems and strategies to work through between sessions. It is a collaborative approach, which means we work together, to improve sleep. Help for younger children may involve working either entirely or jointly with the parents or carers. We are happy to work with children from 6 months to 18 years of age.

Our Children’s Therapist

Kirsty Vant is a specialist public health nurse with 20 years of experience working with children and families. She is also a qualified counsellor and delivers training for the NHS and other health and education providers on paediatric sleep.
